The Baltic Sea is rarely this close, the house in the sea lives up to its name. Surrounded by water, this holiday home floats in the Baltic Sea resort of Olpenitz on the Baltic Sea fjord Schlei and the Baltic Sea.
Situated at the tip of the jetty, the Haus im Meer boasts an unobstructed view of the Schlei from every room, even from the sauna. The Baltic Sea is just a bathing ladder away and the sandy beach is within walking distance. Underfloor heating and a sauna provide cosy comfort in the darker months of the year.
The floating house is divided into three levels. The relaxation area of the house is located on the ground floor with two bedrooms, bathroom and sauna. The master bedroom boasts an extra-long box-spring double bed, a floor-to-ceiling panoramic window front and an adjoining terrace. On the upper floor is the open-plan living and dining area with all-round water views, a fully equipped eat-in kitchen and adjoining terrace. From here you can access the spectacular roof terrace with views over the sailing and sports boat harbour, the Schlei and its estuary into the Baltic Sea. Equipped with high-quality garden furniture and a Weber electric barbecue, the terraces offer a pure holiday feeling, harbour cinema guaranteed.
When the Baltic Sea shows its temperament and it's rough outside, it's all the more cosy in the floating house. Underfloor heating, Finnish sauna, dimmable lighting, comfortable box-spring beds, a TV in the living/dining area and one in each bedroom ensure relaxation and cosiness against a natural backdrop.
If you are travelling with your boat, this is the right place for you. There is a private mooring with shore power and water right next to the house.

A car parking space is available at the end of the jetty. A second car parking space can be rented on request and subject to availability.
