Summary: When we arrived late in the evening, the situation at reception was quite chaotic, but it was clearly not the hotel’s fault. Hotels.com had apparently confirmed several family room bookings that were actually not available, so there were multiple families waiting, and some guests understandably became very upset. I would especially like to compliment the hotel staff. They remained incredibly calm, professional, and kind despite the very stressful situation and the fact that a few guests completely lost their temper. They quickly found a great solution for us by giving us two separate rooms instead of a family room, at no extra charge. The hotel is clean, the rooms are comfortable, and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend it as a convenient overnight stop during a longer road trip.
